Dear GENI colleagues,

Many of you will remember Jay Lepreau, who recently passed away, for his
major contributions to GENI and for his many years of boundless energy in the
pursuit of systems research.

The University of Utah is honoring Jay by creating a new faculty
position, the Jay Lepreau Professor of Computer Science. This position
has an endowment attached to it and the opportunity for a limited
teaching load. It offers the opportunity to work with the Flux Research
group, which Jay founded and led, on their numerous projects in systems
and networking.

More details can be found at:
     http://www.cs.utah.edu/info/facultypositions/2008/#systems

Yours in memory of Jay,

Chip Elliott
GENI Project Director

PS. Please excuse my use of GENI lists for an announcement
falling outside their core purposes; given the unique role of Jay and
the Flux Research group in GENI's prototyping, I felt we should
make a special exception for this one case.
